MI Summer School - Glasgow
Dates: June 11th, 12th & 13th 2025
Venue: NHS Golden Jubilee Conference Centre, Glasgow
THIS EVENT IS OPEN TO ANYONE WHO IS INTERESTED IN MOTIVATIONAL INTERVIEWING
The Glasgow MI Summer School 2025 is a three-day event from the 11th-13th June at the Golden Jubilee Hotel in Glasgow. The summer school aims to be a refreshing learning event for both MI practitioners and trainers. Held at the award-winning Golden Jubilee Hotel, attendees will have ample space and time to connect with each-other over the three days. Due to room allocation there are a total of 80 places per day and these tickets will sell quickly. It is advisable to book early.

Day One (11th June)
Day one is a full day skills-workshop, where attendees will have the choice of two parallel sessions:
Early bird rate £125 ends 22nd April
Standard rate £150
Days Two and Three (12th & 13th June)
Days two and three will provide an immersive exploration of MI related themes. There will be 8 x 2-hour workshops, offered over two parallel streams- one focused on practitioners and one focused on trainers. Our aims for these workshops are to provide a deep dive into an MI related topic area. To build knowledge- from the ground up, tapping into the wealth of expertise we have in the room. Our focus for the summer school is to develop key learning points and skills for attendees to takeaway and use in their MI practice and training.

Standard rate £200 for days 2 and 3

Hotel booking
The Golden Jubilee Hotel is a 4 star resort and conference centre with fantastic amenities, including a pool and sauna. It is within easy reach of Glasgow city centre and Glasgow airport. The hotel is offering a discounted rate to stay for this event. Please click on this 'how to guide’ to book with the hotel.
Important points when booking - choose single occupancy for the lowest rate, choose group discount and if there are any problems then phone the hotel and book directly with them.
Further details about the programme for Days Two and Three will be released in the coming weeks. There will also be details about the social event, which we plan to have on the evening of Thursday 12th June.

If you cancel before 30 days of the event, you will receive a full refund, minus administration fees. Within 14 days of the event, you will receive a 50% refund, minus administration fees.
